MERE GATES - WHO WE ARE

Mere Gates design, manufacture and install manual and automated gates for homes, estates and commercial sites nationwide. We work in softwood, hardwood, mild steel, aluminium, glass, composite—or any hybrid—to match your brief.

From period-correct to clean contemporary, we can adapt proven patterns or create a one-off design that complements your architecture and materials. We also integrate smart access control (keypads, fobs, intercoms, app-based entry) and provide servicing and compliance checks across the UK.

Free Site Survey

We will visit your site take measurements, discuss and sketch your ideas, offer practical advice and suggest which system will work best for your entrance whether manual or automatic.

We will then provide an estimate within 1 week.

Gate Automation & Intercoms

We will do all excavations and prepare power cables etc. For automation motors and intercoms we use the latest European manufactured systems and components from BFT and CAME backed by a parts warranty.

Safety First - Live with it !

We are GATE SAFE Aware installers and can perform risk assessments and gate MOT inspections on new and existing entrance gates and moving parts for insurance purposes and to ensure your gates comply with all current HSE regulations.

Repairs and Inspection

We can service your Entrance gates, repair damaged parts replace hinges etc , re-varnish or send for galvanising and add additional safety features as required.
